What to Expect From Bar Flow

We offer a 60-minute and 45-minute express version of our yoga barre workout. Both class formats are designed to simultaneously energize and relax your body in all the right ways.

Here’s how each class flows:

  • Starts with a warm-up that blends barre movements with an introductory yoga flow to get your blood pumping and muscles ready to move.
  • Amps up the intensity through fast-paced, full-body barre sequences that work every muscle group.
  • Alternates between barre and yoga sequences, increasing intensity with each round.
  • Culminates in an invigorating, fast-paced yoga sequence to promote mindfulness.
  • Ends with a series of thoughtful stretches designed to complement your workout, followed by a final meditation to relax and slow your mind down.

Energize with Vinyasa flows
Bar Flow infuses invigorating yoga sequences into our signature Bar Method routine to stretch, strengthen, and energize. Through constant low-intensity movement, the Vinyasa method increases your heart rate, resulting in lower blood pressure, improved weight regulation, and better overall fitness.

Improve flexibility
It wouldn’t be a yoga barre workout without a good stretch. Bar Flow incorporates dynamic full-body stretches into movements to sculpt your body and improve flexibility, promoting increased joint movement, better balance and control, and improved nervous system regulation.

Frequently Asked Questions About Bar Flow

No. All levels are welcome in every Bar Method class. Our instructors give step-by-step guidance through every workout to help you learn as you go. While no previous experience is necessary, ballet dancers and those with yoga experience will feel right at home at the barre.
No. In fact, if you struggle with flexibility, our Bar Flow class is exactly what you need! Yoga techniques stretch muscles and enhance your flexibility with regular practice.
With a consistent barre class routine, you’ll notice physical transformations such as leaner muscles and weight loss after a few weeks, but you’ll feel refreshed and energized after every session.

Our barre yoga classes have the same sculpting and calorie-burning benefits as our other class formats. Bar Flow incorporates small, controlled movements throughout the flow that work your muscles to fatigue, building muscle mass that helps your body burn more calories, even at rest.

The mindfulness aspects of Pilates and yoga promote relaxation and stress relief while helping to control cravings and eating habits that may contribute to weight gain.
