How The Bar Method Helps Me Live a Healthier, More Routine Lifestyle

For many, the hardest part about working out is getting yourself to the studio or gym. In today’s blog, influencer & blogger Molly Weinberg shares how finding The Bar Method has shaped her daily routine and changed her perspective on fitness. Fitness is no longer a chore for Molly because she LOVES her Bar Method workouts. Keep reading to hear from Molly:

If you haven’t heard, I have an obsession with The Bar Method. I go to bed thinking of either the class I had that day or the class I can’t wait to have the next day! For a long time, I had trouble with being consistent with any type of workout. I wanted to exercise, I wanted to be healthier, I wanted to feel my best, but I never could stick with anything long-term.  

Thankfully, ever since the beginning of this year, I have had the most transformative process. I went from aimlessly going to the local gym to visiting The Bar Method 4x a week with so much excitement. At the gym I didn’t know what I was doing, if I was potentially hurting myself, or how to measure progress. But it’s the complete opposite at The Bar Method. The Bar Method has taught me discipline, form, and routine. What else could I ask for!! The problem (or so I thought)…

I travel a TON for work especially in the months of September, October, February and March. So just when I get into the swing of things I was fearful I’d lose all my progress on weeks when I was out of the state. Wellll, lucky for me I was able to visit two other Bar Method studios! The first was in Austin, Texas and let me tell you, what a treat! And then just a couple weeks later, I bopped into the Nashville studio. The ability to take several classes at both studios was so amazing and motivating. I was able to stay on track, just how I had wanted to. I googled the studios, found the schedules online, and emailed to reserve my spot! 

Knowing that no matter where The Bar Method studio is located, the staff and community are always warm and welcoming is SUCH a good feeling. I wish I could pocket the hospitality and fun The Bar Method in Austin had! I’ve never laughed so much in a class before! And yes, the class is VERY similar no matter where it’s taught. Of course there are slight variations and each instructor has her own personal touch to liven it up, but if you’ve taken a couple classes before at your “home” studio, you’ll fit right in when visiting a new one!

You can’t expect to sign up for the class and see results without putting in the work, but what’s so special about The Bar Method is that it changes not just the body, but the mind.
